Intensive Narcolepsy research to find the gap

Develop IRB-approved needs assessment survey for OTs and OTAs to evaluate their knowledge of Narcolepsy and perceived role of OT within the interdisciplinary care team for Narcolepsy.

Bridging the gap between OT and Narcolepsy: Develop IRB-approved assessment so that when administered, OTs can see not only which occupations patients are struggling with but WHY, which guides treatment planning.

Administer the Wilder-Addison Narcolepsy Function Scale (WANFS) to willing participants.

Analyze data and publish results to bring OT’s holistic practice into the world of Narcolepsy.
